Another of my passions is Graphic Design – especially the Graphic Design of the mid 20th Century. Retro Graphic Design began as Retro Graphica  in 2010 shortly after I discovered a passion for blogging. It moved to a new self hosted WordPress site in June 2011.   This is site is dedicated to found vintage and retro typography, illustration, graphic design, photography and printmaking.  My focus is on the 1950′s, 1960′s and 1970′s although sometimes I find real gems from earlier in the 20th Century.

Some of my favourite graphic items are the fantastic record covers from the 1950′s & 1960′s – and so far I have photographed and blogged about 200. I also love graphic design annuals such as The Penrose Annual, Graphis and Architecture Magazines. You will also find book covers, matchbox lables, food labels and a whole lot more.
